Hey Grand Rapids, Happy New Year (almost)…ready for ’23? Let’s TURN IT UP!
With the new year knocking, it’s time for another look as what’s IN store for INDOOR CYCLING throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area. I’ve been posting this update for most years since 2015, celebrating all the indoor / studio cycling (“SPINNING”) options we have in our corner of western Michigan. It’s all about passion, entrepreneurship, health & wellness, community, and some FUN too!
Due to lingering issues of the COVID pandemic, rising inflation, on-going staffing issues, and growing recession concerns…some studios have limited class offerings or have completely closed their studios: CycleBar opened March 2022 and subsequently closed 9 months later…The Dailey Method closed their Eastown studio mid-year. What else can I say…this is such sad news for the local fitness community and for the local owners that had to make some difficult decisions this past year. Thanks to the owners and staff, sharing their passion for studio cycling!
