  1. So what are the emerging fitness trends? At my gym, the only class that packs ’em in is yoga. We used to have 15 full classes per week. Now we have six 40% full classes. Minute for minute, nothing raises your heart rate like spin.

    1. This is not the first time I’ve heard something about an “indoor cycling slump”. And yet, my experience is much different at my local YMCA. Since BEFORE the fitness rush of the new year, our cycle studio is well attended (even full!) many days of the week. Even as of last Monday still running at or 1-2 bikes under capacity…NOT BAD! I hope our trend continues. And my heart goes out to the owners, investors, employees, members, and others impacted by the studio closures in Texas. 🙁

PS – I’m looking forward to a full yoga class tomorrow AM….namaste! 🧘‍♂️
