After skipping a 2021 update (thank you Coronavirus!), here’s my take on the state of indoor cycling in the greater Grand Rapids market. My purpose here is to feature organizations and local entrepreneurs that share my passion for indoor STUDIO cycling! Let’s just keep it real and also acknowledge there are many great AT HOME alternatives that also get the job done (more on this at the end of this post).
Coincidentally, in my process of collecting a current and accurate list of studio cycling options in a ~20-mile radius of downtown GR, I discovered that national franchise CYCLE BAR has a new SE-area studio opening this month! Also since early 2020, at least 3 new cycle studios opened their doors to cycling / fitness enthusiasts.
Unfortunately a few other locations either closed their doors or substantially reduced or eliminated studio cycling options since COVID-19 prompted a March 2020 “lock down”.
BOTTOM LINE…this list has grown to 16 options for studio cycling enthusiasts like me. SO….LET’S RIDE [INSIDE] GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN!
