In case you missed it, the 2024 inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were announced last year (October 2024), but the recorded ceremony just aired last Wednesday…New Year’s Day. I don’t always follow the annual announcement of inductees or watch the televised annual events, but this one for 2024 got my attention! I went to a Dave Matthews Band concert this past summer…GREAT SHOW, I had at least one or two Foreigner albums in my teenage years, and remember watching the Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, a variety show on television in the 70’s.
Details for the 2024 inductees are found here…and worth a look. If you missed the recorded ceremony last week, both the three-hour (for TV/ABC) and full five-hour versions are available at Hulu and/or Disney+ streaming services.
The 2024 ceremony also inspired me to make a SPINlist for tonight’s class! Many of these legendary artists can already be found on one or more of my ~600 playlists.
NOTE: this is for an hour class…it was practically impossible for me to keep it to only 45 minutes!
